Automechanika Istanbul is a key platform that enables us to strengthen these capabilities,” he said.

Automechanika Istanbul 2025 will open new doors on the global stage for Turkish exporters and manufacturers

Baran Çelik, Chairman of the Board of the Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OIB), announced that the industry has once again claimed the title of Türkiye’s top exporter for the 18th consecutive year. Setting the 2025 export target at 39 billion USD, Baran Çelik underlined that Automechanika Istanbul 2025 will once again be a crucial meeting point for the Turkish automotive industry: “We are preparing thoroughly to ensure the fair offers new opportunities for international business collaborations for our exporters and manufacturers,” he said. The Turkish automotive industry continues to lead the country’s exports in 2024.

Automechanika Istanbul 2024 created billion-dollar trade volume for the automotive aftermarket industry

Automechanika Istanbul, the biggest meeting of the automotive aftermarket industry in the region, created opportunities to new billion-dollar business partnerships. 60,283 buyers visited the fair, which included 1450 participating companies from 35 countries and 12 country pavilions. The fair, organized in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Hannover Fairs Turkey, hosted the most powerful procurement and purchasing professionals from all over the world.

Türkiye's largest international trade fair Automechanika Istanbul 2023 broke new records

The largest Automechanika Istanbul of all times which brings together the automotive aftermarket industry, has come to an end. 1,437 exhibitors from 41 countries and 10 country pavilions took part in the trade fair which was held in Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Hannover Fairs Turkey, while a total of 58,024 trade visitors from all around the world visited the fair. The number of visitors increased by 20% compared to the last year‘s edition.

Automechanika Istanbul is postponed to 25-28 June 2020

In 2019, Turkey’s Leading International Automotive Industry Fair hosted 1.397 exhibitors from 37 countries and 48.737 visitors from 130 countries breaking its own records once more. Although 2020 edition was expected to break a new record again and there are no cases confirmed in Turkey, unfortunately in light of the recent unforeseeable developments concerning the increasing speed of virus spread, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) for which the World Health Organization classified as epidemic and its widespread to an unprecedent area in a great speed, taking into consideration the public health and as a result of liaising with the industry’s leading associations and the stakeholders of Automechanika Istanbul and corresponding the various requests received from attendees and exhibitors of the fair and in order to not result with any forfeiture of rights or aggrievement, Automechanika Istanbul fair which was initially projected to be held between the dates of 02-05 April 2020 is postponed to 25-28 June 2020.

Automotive Industry has exceeded the targets with “Automechanika Istanbul” which is the World's 3rd Largest Fair!

Year’s Record Came from Automotive Industry! The world’s 3rd largest fair of the automotive industry, Automechanika Istanbul reached a significant success at Istanbul! As the leading automotive trade brand in the region Automechanika Istanbul once again became the industry’s ultimate meeting point. The fair brought together 48,737 industrial trade visitors from 130 countries with 1,397 local and international exhibitors from 38 countries in Istanbul. This year, the fair exceeded its own record once again with increasing the visiting rate by 6%. Stating that Turkish automotive manufacturers targeted 32 Billion Dollars’ worth of exports in 2019, Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcılık General Manager Alexander Kühnel and Messe Frankfurt Istanbul’s Managing Director Tayfun Yardım stated that, “Within the scope of the trade fair which we organised in line with the vision of making a greater contribution to exports, our exhibitors signed important agreements. These agreements will have positive impacts on the industry’s targets. We will be seeing these positive impacts on Turkish economy more clearly particularly beginning from the second half of the year”.
