Automechanika Istanbul, the largest international gathering of the automotive aftermarket sector in the region, concluded its 25th year at the Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center with intense participation and a strong trade volume. Combining a quarter-century of industry experience with a next-generation mobility vision, the fair; brought together manufacturers, distributors, buyers, and industry professionals from a vast geography, primarily Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. Featuring approximately 1,400 exhibiting companies from 41 countries, Automechanika Istanbul 2026 hosted 51,127 visitors from 130 different countries for four days. Held on a net stand area of over 40 thousand square meters, the fair saw intense interest from industry professionals in electric vehicle technologies, next-generation maintenance and repair solutions, sustainable mobility applications, additive manufacturing technologies, and digitalization-oriented service models. The one-on-one business meetings, international purchasing contacts, and new distributorship connections made at the fair; once again demonstrated Türkiye's production power in the automotive aftermarket industry and its strategic position in regional trade.
Experience areas attracted immense interest from visitors
The special experience areas brought to life within the scope of Automechanika Istanbul 2026 offered much more than typical fair content. In the Automechanika Academy sessions, sustainability, supply chain transformation, and the future of the aftermarket ecosystem were evaluated by leading figures in the sector. While the Automechanika Detailing Arena by Olex attracted significant attention with live applications and competitions; the special area focusing on additive manufacturing technologies introduced industry professionals to next-generation solutions providing speed, cost advantages, and design flexibility in automotive production processes. In the Premium Event Area, vehicle projects developed by university teams, performance vehicles, and the career area organized in collaboration with eleman.net strengthened the fair's structure of bringing technology, talent, and innovation together on the same platform. Another remarkable event at the Automechanika Istanbul 2026 fair, the Vehicle Painting Event directed by artist Cem Güventürk with contributions from Edding, gave visitors a truly "colorful" experience in Hall 10.

One of the most striking areas at Automechanika Istanbul 2026 was Innovation4Mobility by Bakırcı. In the Innovation4Mobility by Bakırcı area, visitors; had the opportunity to closely experience the innovative applications steering the sector's transformation, from digitalizing service processes to the future of service management, from new standards in body repair and damage assessment to paint technologies, and from vehicle inspection systems to electric vehicle service solutions and driving safety technologies.
Automechanika Istanbul gained even more strength with its partners and participants
Automechanika Istanbul 2026 also drew attention with its strong partnership structure guiding the transformation of the sector on a global scale. While ZF Aftermarket, which stands out with its expertise in technology and innovation, carried out the Turkey launch of its next-generation service concept ZF [pro]Tech within the scope of the fair; international partners such as MAHLE, YANMAR, Hartridge, Bakırcı, and IBIS reinforced the global impact area of the fair with their contributions focused on sustainable mobility, workshop technologies, and aftermarket solutions. Additionally, APRA Europe, participating in the fair for the first time this year, brought the topic of remanufacturing in the automotive sector to the fair's agenda and attracted the attention of visitors with the awareness it created. Within the framework of Automechanika Istanbul 2026, plaques were presented to our exhibiting companies that have participated in the fair for many years.
